Recently i found this interesting website which bring out a lot of famous writers and authors. This website bring all experts together and post their articles within the site. I extract one of the article and share with my readers.
Depression can be quite painful for those who experience it. Emotions can range from just feeling down in the dumps to wanting to die. It is difficult to live this way and for many when their mind is clogged with a cloud of sadness it is hard to do anything.
I have read a few articles on the Law of Attraction and Depression. Sadly enough many of them condemn the depressed and say that it is just something they have to work out. Many articles talk about different thoughts people should have to change their mindset. What these people may not realize is that when you are engulfed by a feeling of hopelessness it may not be that easy for some.
So what can a depressed person do in regards to the law of attraction to improve their mood and outlook? The answer may not be what typical therapist would recommend, but the answer is get angry.
The book "Ask and It is Given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks speaks of climbing the emotional scale. This emotional scale is a series of words to describe emotions individuals have. The words are interchangeable, for example if the scale says depressed as one of the words in can be interchanged with hopelessness.
Getting angry is a step up from depression. Trying to evoke an angry feeling is a good way to switch gears, it gets you out of the helplessness and into the anger mindset. Just like depression, anger is not considered a good emotion. However, for a depressed person it is a good emotion, even if it is only temporary.
One must not stay in the state of anger for to long, it is not good for them or others around them. After you have accomplished getting out of the depressed state and into the anger state you can climb the scale further to a yet better feeling emotion.
You continue to climb the scale and when you reach a slightly positive emotion, stay there and enjoy it. If you prefer, you can immediately climb the scale further and reach the next positive state of emotion.
With practice, you will be able to notice when your feelings are in the depressed state and recall the better feeling you had when you climbed to the state of anger. You will also be able to recall what state you wish to reach after anger.
With this recollection you will slowly be able to climb out of depression when ever it looms about.
